Today's purpose of training is to get my stoke back along wif working on my endurance. Well since my dear partner Jueluo couldnt make it, i took the raptor to row :) Well found out that my stroke has some mistakes, such as i'm pulling too far back and recovering too late, which probably accounts to the slight resistance i feel when i lift my paddle out of the water. Justin also said that my boat at times tends to bounce abit, and says that i shld shift my CG in the boat, by shifting the footrest....BUT the raptor's footrest is stuck!! how to shift?? so throughout the laps i had to be cautious about not causing the boat to bounce which was quite slight. Which was when i realise that i'm really quite light cos my boat is significantly higher than justin's HAHA which might not be a gd thing......

Initially had the plan of going for the time trials for national team this sat, although it is on the same day as dboat nats, but knowing crazy me i dun mind at all :) So i told kenneth about it and well he seem quite positive it. I was like quite excited to be able to try out to be in the nat team haha but ted broke the news to me by saying that we have to be at least top 3 in any competitions from 2005. So i was literally -_-|||....sian diao... but kenneth encouraged me by saying that i can try out for the next time trials, the way he said it really motivated and encourage me alot...THX ted!!!! I'm honestly very motivated by kenneth, him being my grand senior and a coach, brought me up from my weak state in J1 to this point. He's the best coach i ever had, though he's the onli coach i ever had in my life, but well the idea is there :D:D HAHA

Did some sprints today, since i finish my prog much earlier and well was feeling very bored. Did a 1000m sprint first clocked a 4.30 which i felt was quite slow. Later on did a 500m sprint wif justin, we started at the big red buoys i clocked a 2.07 which i was quite amaze cos i kinda screw up the sprint only to realise they had remove the last set of buoys, so the distance is actually shorter, and i was really sian diao cos it was damn slow. The next sprint started 1 buoy earlier, and i managed to clock a 2.09 w/o a last burst, i was really quite impress though it did not work out to my expectations. But on the lighter note i was happy cos i kept telling myself about the catch throughout the sprint, cos normally it would hv just been up rotation or put more power into the stroke. I need to get back the feeling of the sprints and my aggression in the stokre, kinda lost it along the way due to dboat trainings. I really need it back!!

DES out!!
