2 more days...

This is the number of days left
where team 2006 would row together
as one family. Soon, everyone
would be involved in their
individual races in canoeing,
and finally, the seniors would
have to leave and move on.
I treasure every moment we have
left together. Before I leave,
I hope to pass on as much as
I have learnt to the juniors.

Training today was pleasant on the
whole. Not so much on the
performance but the spirit in
all of us. I hope juniors would
hold on to this priceless feeling
and pass it on when they are seniors.
Somehow, it seems that only when
the end is near, that you would
learn how precious some things
are and learn to treasure them.

I do hope that I had done
enough as a senior to help bring up
the juniors. Every junior now is
just like a younger sibling to me.

Let us treasure every moment of the
little time we have left now

And to all my seniors, grandseniors
and ted, I thank you with all my
heart. For it was through your
teachings and care that I have matured
and grown in character. This is one lesson
I will never forget.

As requested by Desmond, I would
spend some time writing about
my stand on relationships :P

Firstly, the numerous commitments
I have now is a double
edged sword. It supports me through
difficult times but also hinders me in
developing special relationships
that requires time and commitment
to develop.

Futhermore, I myself have not decided
whether I am ready for another relationship.
While I do have some desires to have a special
someone there for me when I am tired,
sad or even happy, I always question
myself if this feeling is a need for
companionship or if I am truly interested
in the person. If it is the former,
I believe it would extremely selfish and
irresponsible on my part, and unfair to
the other party. But if it every happens
to be the latter, I wouldn't mind giving
it a shot :)

Staring out of the window now,
the orange full moon looks
hauntingly beautiful.

Lucas OUT!
